Ekornes Stressless Seating ordered for Home Theater today

Since Cathy & I found out that it is going to be the end of February
or 1st week of March for the New Gear to arrive,

We decided to go ahead and order all new HT (Home Theater) seating.

I did a lot of research On-Line as usual and found what we think is a great product.

The name of the Company is EKORNES.
The line we chose is Stressless Wave.
We ordered 1 Stressless Wave High-Back Love Seat.
The leather we went with is called (Paloma).
We chose it as it seemed to be for Adults durable.
The color of the Paloma leather we chose is (Rock).
That is very close to Black but not the sheen of Black more a brushed look.
The Alternate Legs we chose for it are (Wooden hoop) in Black.

We ordered 2 Stressless Atlantic Recliners.
Paloma leather in Rock color with Black wood base.
They come with the Ottoman in same matching Rock color and base in Black wood.

The existing seating in our HT (Home Theater) has been there for Plus 9-Years.
So it is certainly time to replace the seating with more modern High-End furniture.

Below is some information on EKORNES for those that might be in the market.
I can tell you that Cathy & I tried out the exact seating we ordered only in a different color.
You will not be disappointed in this furniture when you are ready.

You can go On-Line and do what is called, (Room Designer).
I did that and then took a picture with my camera just to get an idea of what it looked like.

The seating is correct in the two pictures below but it did not have the correct colors to match our HT room colors.
But it was fun to play with and gives a rough idea of what the seating looks like.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures.
If you try taking a picture of your computer screen you know how difficult that is.

I made the attempt to try to come close to our HT colors below.
(They are not but better than the Grey color above)

Did you get an ottoman for the love seat as well? If you have the space, it is a great storage option for blankets and things in your HT.

My folks have some of these chairs in Ferrari red and they look and feel fantastic.

The only problem with them being so comfortable is staying awake in them long enough to finish a movie!

Nope, did not get the Ottoman for the love seat.
Might end up doing that at some point though.

I agree on the falling a sleep while in a DARK HT sitting on them.
That I can see taking place easily.

Latest up-Date this evening.

Chris you were right on the Stressless double ottoman.
We went over and checked it out see below.

Earl man we luv this this new Stressless seating we ordered.
You are right on the pricing.
It is as you know way up there.
But we have the same few pieces of seating up there (Home Theater) from 9 yrs. ago.
It has been way past time to (Up-Date) & {Up-Grade} for us.
We will not be doing this again I doubt.

Up-Date Feb. 1st 2012

We just went back and purchased the Stressless Double Ottoman.
We just tried the one out that was on Display and it is great.
It has tons of storage and you can slide the ends out and lay the center wood section on for a table.
Same leather as the rest in Paloma, Rock color, Wood for table in Black.

I think we are all set now as this completes the set.
We have limited room to the sides so this seating is going to work out perfect.
It is all in the Medium size which is OK as we are not big people.
And it will fit in the room with space to walk around.

Played with the Stressless On-Line again.
I might be getting actually better at this.

While the set is expensive, you really do get what you pay for. They are well designed and the craftsmanship is top notch.

I really do look forward to lounging on those seats when I see my parents, so I suppose there's an added bonus. These seats bring people together. Haha

Thanks man for the (Heads-Up) on the Stressless double ottoman.

It was in a different section of the European Seating Store.
So we did not see it the 1st trip.
Cathy really fell for it once we got the full scope of what it was and how many things it can do.

An excellent piece for sure and it completes our seating needs.

Hi Eric,

Thanks and I did do some shopping today for the HT (Home Theater).

Had to get a Component stand for all my remotes, phone, etc.
Drove all over the place and went through a 1/2 tank of gas.
All most gave up and thought I was going to have to order on-line tonight.

But I stayed with my search and actually got everything I was looking for.

Here are some pictures of what I picked up today.

This phone is really cool and it is actually for the (Hearing Impaired).
Absolutely perfect for my HT when it is cranked-up !!!
It lights up with a Flashing Red Light and also has a LOUD adjustable tone ringer.
It will certainly let you know you have an incoming call.

The Stand turned out to be a perfect size once I got it home and set-up.

I'm actually right proud of my shopping spree.

The new side table is working out great.
Provides all kinds of space for the remotes.
And all the other things one decides they want near by.

Comparison Pictures.

Old 9 year old love seat & recliner.
Yes there is a Light Gray recliner sitting there.
It has already been removed as well as the Red trash can.

New Ekornes Stressless love seat just arrived.
Major difference for sure and yes we have tried it out.
Now we are super excited over the arrival of the remaining Stressless seating.
Sorry about how clear these two pictures are.
Had to turn on the halogen high power work lamps to provide adequate light for pictures.
The lights are so bright they wash out the true color.
But these two pictures are better than nothing.

It will be nice when we get things really coming in.
I did get an E-Mail from Charles at Hi-Tech Innovations today.
He said they have almost all the 100 Lamp hours now on the Runco.
They made a few of the adjustments at their store for the picture and he said it looks pretty darn Awesome.

Also he is placing a call to Integra on Monday and see if there is an up-date to the back-order on the Pre-amp processor DHC-80.3.

At least things are moving in the right direction now.

Ekornes Stressless "Double Ottoman" arrives ...

Hi,

Today was delivery day for the Ekornes Stressless "Double Ottoman".

Guys this looks pretty darn sweet.

I am really pleased with this now that it is actually in the HT.
Pictures don't do it justice.

I know some of you might be wondering what all the extra boxes and Rails to the Pull-Out are doing in place.
Waiting patiently for the install on the New Components.
So it is all going to stay right where it is for now.
