The good news:
1. GREAT weather both days
2. Met a number of good people - had plenty of good conversations during downtime... (though from the sounds of it - most everyone had more fun Saturday night than I did (fell asleep when I got home - long day... )
3. Car working pretty well all things considered 13.18 @105
4. Won a round with that anda 13.13 dial in
The bad news:
1. Got knocked out in the 2nd round (there were 11 Ultra Stang cars to start with)
2. I was pushing my personal schedule to run rounds today so, since I lost, I headed out to go take care of a number of things that I was not otherwise sure how I was going to do.
3. I got knocked out ugly... I was thinking the guy in the other lane had more of a head-start than he did (13.70 dial in vs my 13.1) and flat out screwed up the tree - sat there for 0.800 seconds wondering why my light turned green so darn fast - d'oh!
I might have caught him - my car is pretty good on the big end, but then I missed 3rd on top of that which I have not missed in months....
But - its all good, lots of fun racing
