First time and it felt goood

I have a 2007 GT 5speed with 3.55 factory gears, my mods include an o/r X, SLP LM1, JLT CAI, and a tune from Brooksspeed. I pulled a 2.27 60' 1/8th was 8.96 @ 83.8 and the 1/4 came at 13.5 @ 107.5. I think that the ET is mediocre but that trap speed was nice, probably due to the shitty 60'. Track is OSW and I blew the 255's off the first pass and only got a 2nd in after a car spewed oil. I am happy with the results and can't wait for mas. I was launching at 2,500 and waiting for the tires to bark and then floored it, definitely looking for some DR's or slicks for a 12.

Did you cry afterwards? Or did you just go to dairy queen and get a dipped cone and think about how awesome your first time way?


But anyways, that trap is good enough for 12's...I ran a 12.7@108 in my 300zx twin turbo but I was also running dr's...Get some better tires and go get some 12 slips

should I say first time dragging RWD, I have done FWD and AWD and RWD is definitely a challenge!!!!!!!!!!

Ha. Glad you ran it.

Your trap is good for the 12 and your 60' is high, if you can get it down to a 1.9 you would be very close. More seat time is all you really need. Good luck.

nice trap. i ran a 12.9@107 with a 1.8x short time.

nice trap speed. get the 60' down and run low 13s high 12s.

as you get your 60' down though, expect your trap speed to go down slightly.

Yeah, I would expect a 12.80 on a good tire at about 106/107 for my mods...sounds about right. Just need a track that sprays VHT on the surface.
