Rehagen Racing has received the Ford Racing steering wheels, made by Sparco. These are the same units used in the BOSS 302S and 302R race cars.

We have made it easy for you to install these right into your S197 race car.
The kit comes complete with the wheel, 2005+ Mustang adapter, and Sparco quick-release hub. All for just $689!

How hard is it to convert these form the stock config over to the quick release? Would it be feasible to make this part of my track prep routine or would it just be a colossal pain in the ass.

It's pretty simple really. The biggest PITA is the center bolt removal. I'd put it up there with swapping in a fixed bucket seat for track use.

Excellent. I'll be adding this to my list.

Does removing the clock spring disable the Advance Trac?

From the boss:

SWA (Steering Wheel Angle) sensor is off the bottom of the clock spring so Advance Trac fails because it does not see that signal.

That's what I thought I read somewhere. Guess I need the racing ABS module to keep the ECU happy and not Limp mode the car.

just an FYI, the ABS module gets rid of all the driver assist functions except the ABS. The ABS is a race calibration as well. no more traction control, etc.
