I need a local performance shop I can trust. Not for now but future. Anyone have any recommendations? Prefer a 3V Mustang specialist.

Thanks!
Bill

Thank you sir.

Anytime :)

I used Wolfpack Speed to install 4.10s, 1 piece driveshaft and an MGW shifter.

He does all kinds of work. From mild to wild.

Mike from Wolfpack speed is also very good and closer to the metro Pittsburgh area.. However Wolfpack Speed is more expensive than Rodeheaver's hot rod shop and you may also have to wait longer before bringing your car in, as Mike's appointment schedule is often backed up..

Funny how you just happen to mention from mild to wild, as that's also the name of the car club I'm involved in lol.

Bill ! Here's a link for Rodeheaver's hot rod shop.. These guys specialize in Mustangs who really know their shit.. I last took my car to them nearly 2 years ago and had nothing but a positive experience with them..

I also would recommend Rodeheavers . My buddy has 2 blown cars tuned by them . One a '99 4.6 2v with a Vortech and his '14 5.0 with a Roush 2.3 .. His 5.0 with the Roush tune was rated at 624 hp .. After he installed a set of ID1000s and a custom tune.. He gained 112 RWHP over the stock Roush baseline run . The guy deff. knows his shit ..

this is your guy right here, about 2 hours from downtown pittsburgh though.

I live 15 minutes outside of the city. For quality work, a 2 hour drive is nothing. Thank you again!

I got to their shop from Carnegie in under 90 min.. Just take I-79 S to I-70 west to route 119 and finally route 21..

I live up Route 28 about 15 minutes out of the city. That's only a 40 minute drive or so. After I get this Aeroforce gauge setup in, I'm done fucking with this car. I'll pay somebody else to do it. I've figured out that this kind of wrenching isn't my thing. I'm good for maintenance work, that's it.

Funny to find out we are pretty much neighbors, lol (I live in Creighton so 15 min up 28 from pgh should put you pretty close)

I know Tim and Mike both well and have had work done by both. I would give the edge to Tim though just because of easier scheduling.

Its almost time for the track to open so maybe I will see you there.

Haha cool! Maybe we can meet up for coffee one day.

Once I get my gauge and boost sensor in, summer tires on, that's it for me. I'm not dropping another penny in the car for some time to come.

I live even further up 28! I'm about 50 minutes from the Mills mall.

I have only heard good things of Rodheavers. I used a place towards zelienople for gears several years ago but I'm not sure there in business anymore. Can't think of the name of it at the moment. They most did mustangs.

Tim really knows his shit, no question about it.. I found out about Rodeheaver's over 2 years ago from a friend of mine who's also in the same car club I'm involved in.. Needless to say, Tim is definitely worth the 90+ min drive from the Pittsburgh/metro area as he has a very down to earth personality towards his customers in addition to his reputation as a Mustang calibration and performance specialist.. That being said, I'll travel 60+miles from my local area as Tim has earned my business by the way he treats his customers as fellow car enthusiasts and also offers them the best bang for their buck performance $$$ as well :waytogo:
