GT500 TB and CAI help please

Ok I just installed a FRPP 3V intake manifold with the GT500TB, my problem is getting the CL street CAI (the aluminum one) hooked back up. the coupler between the TB and the CAI seems to be to small. i have tried everything i can think of. i have tried to heat the coupling, coat it in silcone, even tried to stretch it out a little bit. i called brenspeed and they told me that it should fit but i dont see how. maybe i am just a pussy, but i would love any help i can get.

1. has anybody run into this
2. how did you get it to fit over the TB
3. if there is another rubber coupling i can order i will, but i really want to get this done this weekend.
4. if you did order one, could you be so kind as to tell me the size, part #, and where you got it from

try soaking it in hot water, your going to have to get it pliable.

thanks alot bullitt, considering that is where i bought everything, you would think that i would be smart enough to call him. i will call tomorrow. i have been up for 28hrs straight, i guess i am not thinking straight

No problem, that's where I got mine from. I believe it's a 4" to 5" transition
