headlight issue

the passenger headlight turns on sometimes and sometimes it doesn't but the led strips still work fine, i installed the aftermarket headlights on my stock 2011 mustang what could the cause be?

Could be a defective headlight.

I would take the connector off; turn the headlight switch to "On" and check for 12v with a DVM. If working bend and pull on the wiring to see if you lose 12v. Not too long ago I had an intermittent short in one pair (12v/gnd). Stripped the tape back and replaced the bad section; works fine now.
