So I helped my cousin install a set of the Ebay M2 Shorty stainless headers on his 06 Mustang v6 Convertible. The welds looked very decent and all the burs/slag inside of the headers was all cleaned up and smoothed down. The quality of them for $109.99 Shipped was extremely surprising. The install was really smooth and was done in his driveway within 2-2.5 hours using basic hand tools. These are tied in with his BBK intake and Flowmaster Force II Catback. I drove the car and it felt and sounded really nice. He said it felt like it had some better response. I can't say that I can tell the difference though being that my car is a auto and his is a 5spd.

Here are a couple pics of the headers installed.

A tune will really help. Any sound clips? I just sold my 04 MAch 1 to buy my wife a new escape. That being said, I'm not driving her 07 V6 Pony.

I don't see you getting any major power increases, I also don't think that you would need a tune for them.

I've heard surprisingly good things about the ebay headers. Probably won't see much in terms of power gains though. Wonder how they'll hold up over time

You wont need a tune and power gain will be small but may give you better response, I myself have some shorty headers off ebay and they done me well lol nice setup by the way they sure do stand out :thumb:

Between 2.5-3 hours, but that was goofing around and such. basically had one person per side working, longest part was on the drivers side, the top nut on the manifold stud stripped out for the cat, so the stud had to be cut off.

ive been running some ebay shortys for 4+ years now. they are still fine after 60,000 for $100. they didnt have m2 headers back then so i dont know how they are, but i`m guessing they are about the same. i would do it again

I was going to buy BBK headers, but I think i'm gonna save over $100 and put these on and be perfectly happy with them instead.

there is one brand(might be bbk) that has 1 5/8" tubes,(mine were advertized to be that) but when i got the ebay ones in the mail they were 1 1/2". they still flow better, have bigger collectors than the cast iron rust buckets, and weight 15-20lbs less, not to mention they look so much nicer in the bay. the stainless goes through some color changes and after a couple years dont look too great anymore, but by then you wont care. there are chrome or plated ones that might look better longer, but more money too.
