Install Saleen Headrests Vents

I bought the Saleen headrest vents to mod my ride. I am not sure what is involved with this DIY but I I am game to try it. I am assuming I begin by locating where the vents will sit. Cut the vinyl about 1" smaller than the inserts. Cut through the foam and pull out the foam piece and then assemble the vents inside the head rests. Any upholsters out there with suggestions or warnings? What I am I missing????

I had a friend who wanted to do this a couple years ago. I called Saleen Speedlab for him and they had great advice on how it should be done. I would try your luck there. The head rest do not utilize the standard one off the Mustangs, they are basically done from scratch to form around the vents (if I remember correctly)

that looks way more elaborate then just cutting up a stock head rest. I'd would take it to an upholster.

Oh Stink, I think you may be correct. The stitching does not look like from the OE. Oh my head.
