Installing autometer tach with shift light model 6187

Hey guys quick question for you I bought this tachometer with a shift light on it the smaller one 2 1/16 in is there any way to install this in a 2006 GT and to work properly without spending the extra hundred dollars on auto meters tach signal box?

Depending on when your car was built,, C-25-B on the 50pin PCM connector is a Clean Tach Output that can be used to drive an external tach,

If your's doesn't have it then you'll need a tach adapter ..
