The ever popular Koni STR.T strut is now available for 2011+ Mustangs, no need to purchase GT500 Strut mounts anymore (however the option is still available). These are a little more expensive than the 05-09 model however with our discount code for S197 members I'm sure the price won't be beat:)
We should be getting a batch in relatively soon. Any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask, thanks!

I’m driving a 2011 V6 and have some questions.

I was reading on your web site that the new version for 2011+ lowers the stock spring about 19mm. Is this right and if yes why? Did this change any kind of characteristics of the springs? For example it makes them harder?
Do the version for 05 – 10 have the same lowering rate as the new 11+ ?
Is it a better combination for a 2011+ Modell to use the 05-10 Version and get an additional Upgrade with the needed strut mounts?
You see, a lot of questions. I hope my English is good enough to understand.
Thanks Torsten

No change in spring rate, the difference between the two years is how the strut tops mount.

Hello Jason,
Thanks for your answer.

So it gives me a soft lowering of 19mm on front and back.
The Koni Auto Catalog says on page 33 that the number for the back is 8250 1008.
http://www.koni-na.com/pdf/AutoCatalog.pdf
This is the same as for the 05-10 Version. That means to me, that a 05-10 Mustang is although lowered about 19mm with stock Springs. Is this right?
Please excuse me, but this is the first place I read about it.
Torsten

Please check you website. Your are writing “Use Koni Koni 8750-1108 to lower rears an equal amount if not using lowering springs.” I think that has to be Koni 8250 1008.
