I had buffed the car recently but didnt get the results I wanted in the light. I am getting better and it was only my second time using the Griots DA as well. Let me know what you guys think. The main goal was to get the deeper RIDS out that were left last time. Only did a 1.5 step I guess you could say. LOL

Materials used:
Griots DA
Meguiars M105
LC Hydrotech Cyan Pad
Optimum Poli-Seal
LC Hydrotech Tangerine Pad
Optimum Optiseal

I may go back when I get the time and use m205 but I could not see any difference in micromarring or haziness when doing a side by side. I may go back just for the heck of it though.

I need to buy a brinkman too!

Overall I am happy with it this time:thumb2:

Some before and afters (Note these are all just after M105)

Looking good. I've got the Brinkman dual LED lighthead. Works great!

Try using 205 with the crimson pad to follow up 105/cyan with.

105/cyan if done right, can be an excellent one step on bright colored cars. I do not recommend that on dark cars.

This was after 105/cyan, 205/tangerine and po85rd/crimson

Is the crimson a finishing pad? The only pads I have now are the 3 Colors you recommended in that one post. 2 cyan, 2 tangerine and 1 red finishing pad. May be crimson. I know every brand is different!

yes, crimson/red is a finishing pad, has zero cut to it, so it would let the abrasives work for themselves.

Sweet. I may give that a try tonight or tomorrow. I'm guessing that will cut down on Haziness and increase gloss?

Car looks good! Definitely hit with the M205 and if you can, get some Menzerna P085D with the crimson (red) pad and that baby is gonna pop. Are you doing iso wipes after polishing?

How do you like the new wheels? I love how they look but dam those suckers are heavy.

No I haven't been but I can. And I love the wheels! Can't tell much difference in the way it drives or anything with the added weight.

Since you have more hp than me, you problably won't notice difference in weight. I went from 18" deep dish bullits to the roush's and it was noticable. I like how you kept the appearnce of your car very clean.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I did add the turbo when I added the wheels and it still feels faster than before! :thumb2: haha

Thanks! Just getting used to a DA. Been using a Rotary for awhile so its a big change!

How do you like that DA? I have always used a rotary myself, but I really hate the clean up after using it.. I might be picking up a da myself soon.

The Griots is the only one ive used but has plenty of power and doesnt bog like Ive heard the Porter Cables do. I just had to get used to putting pressure on the pads, unlike a rotary. Its nice to not have to worry about holigrams or anything anymore!
