I have the axle out right now to do a spool,35 spline axles, and weld on some 9" ends . Also weld the tubes and brace axle. Wondering what suspension upgrades will help my 60ft. Been 1.40 already but looking to dip into low 1.3s or even 1.2s. Car is a Frankenstein uploadfromtaptalk1454856526286.jpg
338ci twin 66mm turbo and holley hp setup for management. Car went 1.4 60 9.58 at 149mph. It had a c4 trans b4. Went to a th400 for strength.

I have bmr box poly lowers, a bmr adjustable upper, relocation bracket for sway bar, strange adjustable shocks, ford lowering springs 1", and I just installed the bmr lca relocation brackets for lowers. That's all the goodies. 15x10 race star rears with 295 55 15 Mt et streets, 17 x8 fronts 245 tire. No front sway bar, just stock v6 springs as car was a v6 donor.

I would think you would benefit from the viking double adj to be able to adjust compression and rebound

I may try getting away from progressive springs and go to that upr kit. It's a linear rate. Car doesn't seem to unload.

Got axles welded and some braces.

My setup is similar

steeda uca
bmr lca w/relocation brackets
race craft anti-roll bar

but I do have double adjustable shocks, they were custom built to the specs of the car, can't recall who made them, its been a while.

Just curious but how much boost are you launching at and which boost controller are you using?

I launch at around 9psi and it ramps up to 20psi after about 2 seconds, holds steady from there

I would start by trimming your bumpstops. Being that you're lowered and you haven't touched them, the car could be bouncing off of them and unloading the rear suspension when it rolls.

I think you would also benefit from adding an anti-roll bar and some Viking rear shocks. Once you can get that body roll under control, you should be able to get your 60' knocked down to mid 1.30s.

What hole are you running on your LCA relocation brackets?

2 step at the same rpm as you, also a 4k stall, launching at a little more boost (9lbs if I remember correctly). I am running built power-glide trans, with a transbrake. I have a Race Craft ARB which is a fantastic unit, car goes perfectly straight down the track even if the tires spin.

I have the aluminum rearend griddle also. I will try and snap a couple of pics of the ARB setup along with the shocks (don't know why I can't remember the mfg, old age maybe), you might want to put the stock springs back in the rear, being lowered is probably hurting you a little.

Does the Holly ems also control boost?

I just installed the bmr lower brackets, bmr adjustable panhard, upr adjustable lowers, adjustable coils #150, steeda spherical upper housing bearing, bmr poly upper adjustable. The bump stops were never touched. It will still have strange adjustable shocks.

1.40 60s

I'm still finishing up my 35 spline axle conversion with a spool. I had a completely bone stock 2012 axle before.
I was running strange adjustable air shocks, -1" springs, bmr adjustable poly upper with stock lowers, panhard, anduploadfromtaptalk1455708715775.jpg swaybar

Try dropping them down to the lowest hole. That should help control the roll a little more.
