I tried the search feature and could not find any info. My M&H drag radials were just shipped to me and they are collapsed like fat pancakes. How the hell do I expand them or should I just let the tire installer handle this? I can't even get my fingers in there to expand.

Thanks,

Greg

That was the thread I found and I laughed my ass off - but it solved my problem. Thanks Pumkinfish for sending me the link!

Yeah, that was my thread where I wigged out over it. LoL. It's easier to get your foot in and push down, than it is to try and pull up with your hands...FYI for future reference.

Curious:

A) if these will work on a 9" wheel
B) how well they will hook on my car

MH tires hook EXTREMELY WELL. I could never get out of the 1.6's on MT's but i got almost into the 1.4's on the MH's

275-45-18 tires will work on a 9" rim. You can go + or - 1" of the recommended rim size. I use them on a 9.5" rim. 8.5" is too small IMO

I use this size on 9" rims. They hook great. That being said, if I had to do it over, I would have gotten a 10" rim for them. At anything over track pressure (20psi is what I run them at) they crown enough to see it. 10" rim would be ideal for DD as you could run a higher pressure on the street, without wearing out the middle so fast. That's just my .02

How are those tires fitting your wheels, are you getting any lip from the wheel sticking out past the tire? Pics if you have them. Thanks.

Got the tires installed today on 10's and the wheel is sticking out past the tire - needless to say I am switching them to the 9s.
