I am in the process of re-assembling the snout onto the supercharger and can't find any info on the torque specs for the bolts. Also, do I need to use any RTV on the mating surfaces? I did not notice any when I disassembled it but don't want it to possibly leak.

Edit: Moved to 4.6 for better exposure to the question.

Everything you are looking for should be in here: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=168

It might take some digging around to find exactly what you are looking for. You could also ask Jason or look up SAE torque specs online for the thread diameter and pitch of the bolts you are torqueing.

I've always used thin layer of rtv on one faying surface (only one of the parts) when putting a snout back on. The subsequent squeeze out is verification that it's sealed, I wipe the excess squeeze out away.

It's probably not necessary due to the nicely machined surfaces but I do it anyway. Once again it's something I'd ask Jason, he has a whole lot of these things out there and has plenty of feedback on what works and what doesn't.
