Moser Engineering has jumped on as a sponsor this year for the NMRA season.
Which means , out with the old and in with the new.
My old 8.8 had Moser 31 spline street axles, Moser diff girdle, eaton true trac diff ,4:56 gears and all the BMR bolt on brackets.
The new 8.8 will be a little different.
It will have 33 spline, gun drilled, star cut flange and 5/8 studs.
With Mosers billet spool, 9in ends, Moser girdle and a 4:88 gear.
It will also have the new Moser 2 piece rotor light weight race brakes.
It'll all be powder coated silver/with all red BMR brackets bolted to it.

Ill try to get pics of the rear in their shop, as they build it.
Here is the old one on the floor.

Sorry, here is the old one on the floor.

Thanks guys
I gave my old set up to a buddy that's hoping to run his first ten second pass in Bradenton.
Pay it foward .
Yah, I'm hoping for a 1.56 short time.

Just stopped in at Mosers to check it out and go over some things.
The silver powder coat doesnt look as good as we thought so we are going with black, accented with all red BMR Brackets.
Moved up to the 3inch tubes, got rid of all stock welded on brackets ( spring perch , Shock brackets , control arm brackets and pan hard brackets) and went with all Moser water cut brackets.

I know it's all overkill for my power level , but it'll be the last rearend i'll have to build.
NEXT YEAR====5.0

Bradenton hooks great. If he can do it at all, he can do it at Bradenton.

Compared to most other tracks we run in this series, Bradenton doesn't hook as well as most.
MIR and BG are probably the best in my book.

Well my home track is Orlando Speed World, which is like trying to hook on wet ice at times. Took me almost a year to hook there, then went to Bradenton and shredded my clutch on my first pass.

The rear axle sounds fantastic.

Just talked to Shane at Mosers, they are moving right along.
Should have pics by the end of the week.
