Will these fit properly on my car/ rim clearing the shock & not rubbing the fender.
I have Weld RTs 15x10 rims with 6.5" backspace.Stock rearend, stock suspension stock brakes.I have installed rear swaybar relo brackets.
These rims I have use to run MT ET Drags 28x10.5x15 with no issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Need info ASAP.

Randy you will need to get the sway bar relocation to fit the 15" rims.
I ran a 28-13.5-15 tire on there stock with no issue.
You will be good with a 28-12.5-15.

A 325-50-15 that a lot of people run is also equivilant to a 28-13.5-15 and same as a 28-10.5-15w.

Randy with a 6.5" backspace I am pretty sure these will stick out beyond the fender line significantly.

Hi Scott,I ran a 28x10.5x15 MT ET Drag with this same rim & soft shock settings & had no problems. If we look on on MT website my proposed 28x12.5x15 ET Street Radial has very near the same section width & specs.I am not familiar with street radials.I just don't want to have the tire contact the fender or shock on a hard launch.
What tire are you using?

Randy, with 15" Race Stars, 7.5" BS and 325/50/15's the tires stick out beyond the fender line so I expected it would be worse with your 6.5" BS. I just narrowed a housing 1" per side to tuck the drag radials in. In hind sight 3/4" per side would have been perfect.

Here is info from MT website
I want to run a MT ET street radial 28x12.5x15
Approved rim 8.5-10"
Section width 12"
Tread width 10.9

I use to run MT ET Drag 28x10.5x15 with no issues at 10.75 psi.
Approved rim 10"
Section width 12.5"
Tread width10.9

I just want to make sure fender or shock contact will not be an issue.
Based on this info I think I am ok,but I have no ET street radial experience.
Your thoughts??

How did these tires end up working for you? Looking to fit a 325/50 on a 15x10 Racestar with 6.5" backspacing...worried about them fitting inside the wheel well

325/50 15's on 10" Race Stars:

325/50 15's on 10" Race Stars with axle shortened 1" per side. (using 1/4" spacers until I can move the upper shock mount in about 1/2") Also aired out, not at ride height.

Same 6.5" backspacing? I order ones with 7.25" backspacing along with the 325 Hoosier's. I guess we'll see in a few days. Car looks amazing by the way
