Well here's my new winter project (warning its not a ford!!) hey guys I built a Harley sportster last winter custom paint and all kinds of stuff . Prob had like $4g into the bike total. I had the bike on Craigslist for trade for a hot rod or rat rod and this guy contacted me like 2 months ago. Well we were both busy and couldn't find a time to get together seeing he was like 3 1/2 hrs away and we were both busy with work. Well we finally got together and we did a even trade .
The car is a 1956 Pontiac chieftan with a built chevy 350 4 bolt main .
With a big cam and it has twin edelbrock 4 bbls it runs good needs some interior work . It exactly what I'm looking for I'm going for the rat rod look with a solid drivetrain. What do you guys think?

Very cool! I'd make the interior comfy, the power train reliable, then just drive the shit out of it.

Thanks for the compliments guys . I was crawling up and down the car today.
Man I love how simple everything is . The engine has like 2 wires on it to make it run. I'm going to do a wire tuck under the hood . I need to do some brake work and some stuff here and there . But mainly just need to attack the interior.
It has a new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers . It sounds pretty sick !
Can't wait to drive it next year. I removed the the middle bumper on the rear of the car today. I will keep your guys updated.

Turbo it?

Hey guys someone please tell me I'm nuts .
I was throwing around the idea of throwing a single turbo on this bad boy!
They already have the manifolds that will work perfect.

I think a 1956 Pontiac with a single turbo intercooled 350 would
Be pretty fun to drive around in during the summer.

What do you guys think?

As cool as it would be to turbo it I would just drive it as is. Its reliable and I'm sure the ride is comfy as hell.
