Just thought I would share Sean's Boss302. What an impressive machine.

This car shows what good suspension, good tuning, and good driving can get you. These passes were also made in "okay" air - I'd love to see what it would do on a "0" DA day, with a higher RPM Launch.

I have been assisting Sean for quite some time with this car, and getting the suspension to work. And also giving him launch tips/advice (as in, don't be scared of RPM) - the car is working at 6500RPM Launch, but we plan to take it to 7,000 soon.

Here is the YouTube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4FfCR6atJg

The primary mods are:

Basic Bolt-On Mods
AED E85 Tune
BMR Suspension / Viking DA Shocks
Magnum Trans / 5.14 gears
Weight Reduction

He has a few more parts to throw on the car, in search of better ET's, including a full BMR Front Suspension Set-Up.

You gotta love his style too. He buys everything from us in Bare, and has it clear coated. I personally love the look. Can't wait to see how his K/Arm install comes out!

I agree.

I can't wait to see how the front end comes out. I will be sure to post pics when he gets them clearcoated and installed.

This car is fun to watch. I've seen him a few times at the track. Makes like 20+ passes a night and drives the hell out of that car

Thank you for the thread. Oh wait, that's a different Sean haha.

Like everyone else has said, that is flying for such a small amount of mods. You guys have got that suspension pretty dialed in by the looks of it.

The car doesnt hook very well. Lots of tire spin happening.

Tire spin is a must on a high RPM N/A 4V car.

We have dialed that wheel speed into it, because without it - it bogs.

Rest assured though, we are now working back on it....to try and get it to spin slightly less. I think it's got a 1.42 in it - which is unheard of for a mid 10 second stick car at this weight, N/A.

The second pass, in this vid, is where we are trying to get the wheel speed on this Boss.

It went it's best of 1.33 on that pass.

Of course, the suspension on that car is almost identical to the suspension on the car I made the thread about. BMR FTW.

Amazing, an early model camaro track car vs. a late model what could be a daily driver.
Just freakin amazing!

Holy gears batman. Brings the expression "don't fear the gear" to a whole new level in a street car.
