Need Help with CDC Deal Pedal Install

I just received my dead pedal from CDC. It looks great!!

The installation instructions say to pull up on the metal door sill plate and then on the plastic strip beneath it to remove them

Has anyone done this? I'm afraid the snaps will break if I pull up too much.

Just work your way up & down the sill, pulling up a little as you go. It won't break as long as you work it a bit at a time. If I recall there are four clips holding it to the frame.
