Went to FAMOSO and it was hot hot hot. Easily over 100 degrees at 5 pm. It started cooling down by 8pm and at 10pm I ran this:

11.347 @ 120.43 mph 1/4 mile
7.254 @ 95.89 mph 1/8th mile
I had just a little trouble with the 60' with a 1.673

Then I got back in line and backed it up with a 11.406 @ 119.60 mph.

Here is the video: Click here to see Video

Here is a interesting note: the very first pass of the day, I forgot to load in the race tune--so I ran the 1/4 mile with the pump gas tune and ran a 12.28. My 60' was off also with a 1.82. Point is, when I made the 11.34 pass, all I did different was load in Adams race tune. If you remove the difference in the 60' time (because I spun), you still are looking at a 7 tenth of a second difference between the pump gas tune and race tune.

Way to Paul! Congrats!!

I'm sure the heat and bad air also hurt the first run.

great numbers paul!!!:thumb:

I am sure you can run a 11 flat with a fresh set of tires 15 degrees colder.

Yeah, I think it definitely has a 11.1X in it. The PI converter made a huge difference.

FWIW, I just checked Weather Underground, and it was about 102 degrees at 5PM (DA ~3,850). At 8pm it was about 91 (DA ~3,000), and at 10pm it was 82 (DA ~2,400). It may have been hot, but at least it was dry (19% humidity at 10pm).

That makes sense, so the race tune had a 9 degree and 600 foot DA advantage as well.

again....super run! good to see the money for the converter was well worth it.

Yep, definitely an improvement, and the converter stays locked on the big end to. 3 disc definitely the way to go if you have a power adder.

A while back I was debating between the TCI and PI, but after a few TCI's failed, I've decided on the PI. I haven't heard about anyone having any issues with those.
