New Best at Etown on Saturday

I went out to Etown on Saturday because I was having racing withdrawl. My started off bad as i could not get my new rims to mount right or the lugnuts to torque. So I threw on my set from last year. We got to the track late and had to about 1.5 hour wait to run. Well here is a breakdown of run #1:
60'- 1.589
330'- 4.530
1/8- 7.012
MPH- 98.43
1000- 9.162
ET- 10.972
MPH- 124.69
The only change from last year is I put on a set of Cobra Jet springs. I also got yelled at by the tower people. So I did a half track pass. Here's that breakdown:
60'- 1.559
330-4.501
1/8-6.990
MPH-98.14
1000-9.384
ET-11.943
MPH-79.83
As you can see I got out of it and hit the brakes so they didn't throw me out permanently. I still have some more parts to go on. No more power just optimizing what I've got. I also sent a copy of my times to psfracer because when I scan them they come up as a Tif file and I can't post them here.

Thanks guys! I need to invest in a rollbar. The air that day was awesome. I wish I could have ran it out on the second pass, but oh well there will be another day. I still need to install my PTC converter and put the Greg Welds on. It should get better after those go on.

I am gonna say that 10.97 is gonna be a 10.57-67 with the converter and wheels...easy....

Pacettr, The DA for that day was -1850 so those passes will be hard to duplicate until probably the fall.

Shades, I don't go to Etown very often. The last time I raced there was Nov 2008 at JDM day. I won't go back until I get the proper safety equipment.

Dammit!!! I would be happy with +1000. My PB came in 1900+!!!
