Just got an Email from Ford Racing regaurding the release of quiet a few parts from the Boss Mustang. Mainly there are a bunch of engine parts which seem pretty interesting including CNC ported heads, Light weight intake valves, sodium cooled exhaust valves, High pressure valve springs, Radiator, Boss and "Road race" oil pans, Oil cooler, Manual Trans cooler, Gauge pod and Gauges, Brack upgrades, front splitter kit, Boss Torsen differential, and of course the Boss intake manifold.

It looks like some really cool stuff to say the least. Most of the release dates are in March, I did notice the Intake Manifold, cylinder heads and valves are available and ready to ship... as well as the splitter kit, brake duct kit, and manual trans cooler.

here is the parts list, i noted Jobber pricing since that is what we offer to S197 forum members.

Do the head assemblies come with cams, springs, etc...ready to bolt on or are they just bare heads?

Yep.

I priced the intake a week and half ago and list was $330, discounted was going to be $260 but order could not be placed.

Last Friday I called and checked again, was able to order, with my discount I got it for $450. Still cheaper than most shops...

I searched the part numbers online, and the heads seem to be assembled minus the cams, followers, and adjusters

Not to be a stickler but I think the following price is way high:

* $534.95 M-9424-M50BR BOSS 302R INTAKE

$475 shipped makes more sense and still great margin.

I dont see how this is correct. I log into the dealer website every day and even right now it says the manifold wont be available til April.

Sorry Im sure if you ready above you will understand that because some shops tried ordering through Ford and not Ford Racing they ruffled some feathers and now the pricing went up, considerably because Ford Racing had a targeted price of $600. $534.95 is the lowest you will ever see it advertised through a Ford racing dealer because that is Jobber pricing and we cant go lower than that. Cost on these is not what they were last week anymore...
