any idea how much higher the 5.4 deck height is?

So the only real difference is that the intakes are further apart and higher, yes?

Might be interesting to see how a DOB would fit. I would guess you would have more clearance on the bottom pan, which would be nice.

You seriously didn't realize that the deck height was the difference between the 5.4 and 4.6?

Of course the deck height means there are other necessary changes to other parts,

Good man! I didn't want to haul a couple of blocks out and measure them!

So my off the top of my head guess is that the manifold will need to be .57" wider (I'm on the couch). That could be done with spacers I guess. IDK what would cost more. Adding spacers to an already expensive to produce kit, or jusy make different manifolds. The design would be easy, and it would be nice to do it without spacers.

We've looked at the 5.4L 3v thing and there simply isn't enough interest. If I could get enough interest I would be all over it. I may do one big blast across F150 FB pages, etc and see if I can get it one more time. I'm not expecting much though. I've been asking for interest for years now.

I keep telling people that if they get me 25 people that are ready to go I will give them a kit for free. Still no takers.

If I can find 25 guys for the f150 can I get a kit for my 2006 3v??? I know a few local guys who want boost in their f150's including my brother. By the way the 4.6 f150 does that that the normal DOB kit? Also ever look into the 2v's

For sure, you find me 25 5.4 3v guys and I'll send a 4.6 3v kit your way.

I doubt we will ever do 2v stuff. Next is LS manifolds, then I'm looking at getting into boats (big block Chevy stuff basically).
