I went to the local dragstrip (1000ft) today for some Test and Tune. Came back a very happy man. First off, the DA was an astonishing -325ft at noon when I got there, so I figured now was the time to go for broke. A little information about the car. It is a 3.55 gear car with a BBK CAI, Diablo Predator with a custom tune from Chip@thediabloshop, BBK LT's, O/R X, and Bassani AxleBack. The car has 100% stock suspension except for a front sway bar delete. I was also on my old set of M/T 26x11.5x16s. My first run I noticed nothing different, when a buddy of mine walked up and told me that I might have pulled a wheel. So I go and stage back up and what do you know pulled the left stock 17" wheel off the ground. I am very very happy. Is this normal?

My old PB was a 10.54 at 97.5
Today it was 10.38 at 99.5
For the people who need a picture or it didnt happen

Haha I just realized how crap the timeslip picture is! Yes it was a 1000ft track. The nearest 1/4 is 4hrs away in tulsa. I was launching at 5500-6000. I was going for broke, luckily it never happened.
Timeslip to clear it up

1.77 = 60'
5.24 = 330'
8.11 = 660'
87.04 = 660' mph
10.38 = 1000'
99.45 = 1000' mph

Awesome dude! I didn't think our cars would pull the front wheels like that (especially those heavy 17s) with such minimal mods and basically stock suspension.(and I am glad you got that pic to silence all the haters!) Congrats! : highfive:

Sweet! Times had me weirded out for a second..lol.

Just went to the track with my buddy yesterday and he was pulling the LF wheel in his '11 5.0 with CAI/X pipe/tune and stock 19's. He was running 275/40/17 DR's. So it can def be done..lol.

LOL, yeah the the wheel he was pulling was a stock 19. So my statement is technically correct damnit! But it does sound funny. Should have read "...stock 19's up front".

:roflmao:

Edit: He actually posted up some vids. I only got one video from the front at launch and you can't easily see it on the pc. Very slight but there was a about 1" of daylight. It was clear as day when we watched it in 1080p on the bigscreeen. Now I wish I got more vids from the front.

Dang, No Mods to rear end yet? Shocks, Springs, Axels, or Wheel Studs? That Stang is squating very nice in the rear. Great job
