well picked up the car this afternoon and she feels real strong

the old plugs didnt look to bad so maybe it was a gap issue but better to just swap them and it be done!!!

445 hp @ 15*
461hp @ 17*

the difference in the upper/mid HP range is very noticeable

no all pulls that the car has made were on the same dyno

1/07 - 435
10/08 - 415

then the above

not IMO with stock exhaust and no meth on a mustang dyno

I agree^^..At one point I dynoed 417 whp on a MD1850 IIRC, then 385 on an AWD MD..after the cams it was 418 whp..I thought the first MD I was using was a heartbreaker, the one my tuner owns now is even worse!! Put your car on a dynojet, Im sure you would see 470-480, if it matters to you..We all know the dyno rules around here,lol:whistling::LMAO:

LOL

the MD can also be set up differently, I had a conversation today with my guy about it in fact, he said most operators of the MD us a inertial test method for the pulls and the number are as similar to a DJ as possible. the benefit as he explained it and as he uses it, if that the set up of of the dyno allows the pulls to be long enough to get all the data needed but not too long as to get too much heat in the car.

Something else to consider, that the conditions from one pull to the next can have a huge effect on the numbers on a blower car. he showed me two passes that were made about 30 mins apart, the first made 445(cold) and the second heat soaked pull went to 405 then he let it cool for about 10 mins and it pulled 435. The blower doesnt like the heat!!

the track is the great equalizer!!! I'm optimistic that I have a shot at 11.5 now

holy crap that's huge

any idea how fast that thing can blow the air over the car? Dan was telling me that is one of the issues he has in trying to do real world testing is he cant get the airflow for 130 at the top of a 4th gear pull
