New to DSLR - First attempt at low light shots

I use a remote like this one with my T1i. I normally set the camera in 'M' for night/long exposures. IMHO, it takes a while to nail it down but a blast to play with flashlights and all that jazz!

Tried again last night with some more! Some using a tripod, some handheld. The shot of the Texas capitol was my favorite of the night. Handheld for that one.

I shoot "M" for everything. There's an Android app called DSLRController that can do everything (and TONS more) a remote shutter can for a fraction of the cost. Look into it!
