OEM information center ?s

For some reason my car does not have the "info" system to the left of the flasher button. The "buttons" are basically filler plugs. I've had the trim off before installing vent pods/guages and what not. The wire harness/plug is there and actually snaps into the center filler plug. My question is, if I buy the button assembly and put it in, will the info center actually function as if it came that way from the factory?

Between your tach and your speedo, do you have 2 or 4 gauges?
If you have this gauge cluster, no adding the button will not do anything for you.

I finally found a thread about it. I have the 4 guage. Eff that, I'll keep my Roush guages. Thanks.
