I was thinking about the deals on the 2014's but they dont make yellow. I would say thats worth another 10K

Powder rods ARE forged. I highly doubt it has H - beam 4340 rods. My guess would be basically Boss 302 rods.

When does Job 1 start on the Mustang? August? Does it matter how soon I put down the deposit? Just wondering if it's a first come first serve on pre orders. Usually about how long does it take from Job 1 until I see delivery? 6-8 weeks? Just trying to plan out my finances.

My fleet bulletin specifies Job #1 starts 8/11/14

Your dealer would ask for a deposit when you submit your retail order. It would be a first come first serve since allocation is set and a dealer can't just order 5000 mustangs because it wants to. I would estimate the normal 6-8 weeks, but who knows.
