polished my exhaust tips today

The boss gave me a jar of Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. She thought I might polish my wheels. I explained that wouldn't work, but I'd definitely try it on my exhaust tips.

shows a tip after I had cleaned it with turpentine to remove any tar. I then cleaned it with car wash, but it still had a yellow haze.

I spent about five minutes on the tip with Mothers, and I was surprised.

Not only was the yellow haze gone, the finish was like a mirror. I think they look at least as nice as when I bought the car in 09.
