Mods, Im not sure if this is tech, so I put it inthe chit chat area.

I had my tune re-freshed yesterday at my friends shop EFILOGICS by Chris SK, as usual. Added another degree of timing and picked up another 9 at the wheels just messing around becuase everything lokks so good with the tune. I am posting my dyno graph. It kind of falls on its face around 4,000 or so rpm , then BAMM! It feels/sounds like your hitting it with a small shot of nitrous. We have it narrowed down to it being my stock torque converter. Would it be correct in saying that its locking up? We know it is not the tune at all, so it must be this crap stock converter. Anyone have $1,000 to lend me for a new converter? :beerdrink: What do you guys think..

Car still ran a 12.19 @ 116 with the same issue last June. Its just that lull at around 4,500 rpm..If I only had a a thousand bucks to drop, I think I would see a mid to upper 11 pass with a good 60 ft. and no drop @4,500 rpm..
