Anyone else having this problem? The paint on the backside of my door handle is practically gone and is starting on the backside of the passengers door handle as well.

My 05 has the same issue. Paint is all jacked up I only noticed because it felt odd when I went to open the door. Its a weird area to fix I would assume, I've never looked into it though...

Wonder how much new handles are? Might have to get some new ones, prep them better and get them painted and then just swap the handles out.

My buddy owns a paint and body shop, he said he could repaint them still on the car, Have not let him do it yet, but he has been painting for 15 yrs, so I trust him.

Door handles are easy to take off, it would be better to pull them. Mine are wrapped now, so I don't have to worry about that though. :beerdrink:

Oh ok. He might know some buddies of mine. They used to work there as well.

Mine are the same way. I contacted Ford and they told me it would cost 200 to have the handles repainted or buy them new prepainted and installed for 80 a pc.
