How about sell the car to your girlfriend, take a few thousand out of that to buy a decent little get around car and use the rest to put a down payment on a house? Win-win, you get to still drive your car cause your girl owns it, AND you have a house. Buy a nicer car in a few years man, the faster you buy a house, the faster it is paid off and the sooner you can spend your money on just toys.
