I am looking at getting either the MT 295/45r17's or the M&H 345/35r18's.

Rygen is going to let me take a spin on his Mickeys, so that will help with the selection.

Is anyone running a set of the M&H 345/35r18's? If so, what size wheels are you using? I am wondering if they will fit on a 10" rim correctly.

Thanks,
Spaz

according to your sig your still under 400 rwhp, 345's will probably do the same to you as my 305's did to mine before the s/c. They'll hook so hard they'll bogg the motor. 345's will fit on a 10" wheel and look kick ass too!!

I have the MT 305/45/18 on a 10 inch wheel and they fit perfectly. I havn't put them on yet as they are my summer tire setup but they should hook great.

I have the 325/45r17's mounted on 17"x8"s on there right now. They fit and look great. My only problem (and th reason for the question) is they are actually 275 wide not the 325 they are marked.

I drive them on the street and at the track. The last time I was at the track I had roughly 40 less rwhp/tq compared to now. Even at 15psi and a 90mph smokey burnout I was still getting a little wheel spin coming out of the hole. (7k rpm hole shots)

I still pulled 1.7 short times, but with the bump of 40 rwtq, I am sure there will be a bit more spin. I want to get some wider rubber to help with the short times. I am going to have to relearn how to drive this car too. Should be interesting.

Those are the 345s? They look smaller.
Shouldn't the 345s be like 2" wider that the 295s? (50mm = about 2 inches)

No, the pics are the 325's. I want to buy 345's, but I want to confirm they fit on a 10" wide wheel first.

All M&H tires run smaller, I also run 325's on my 07 and they look no where as big as my 295's did, but I will say these tires hook and are my favorite tires now. Ill def. be buying M&H's from now on.

My only problem (and th reason for the question) is they are actually 275 wide not the 325 they are marked.
You also need to keep in mind that the listed width for a tire is the section width, not the tread width. So, the section width is the distance from the widest point of its outer sidewall to the widest point of its inner sidewall when mounted and measured on a specified width wheel. M&H lists the section width as 12.6" on an 11" wheel, which is about 320mm. Not too far off from the advertised 325mm. Putting it on a smaller wheel will reduce the section width, also.
