The Powerstorm Pro Series built 5.0 engine features many upgrades allowing it to handle up to 1,000 HP. Built around Ford's new generation 5.0 aluminum block that is put through all of Livernois Motorsports Pro Series Engine procedures like deck plate honing, align boring, modified oil passages,etc, etc... We also install many upgraded components such as our Powerstorm pistons, rods, main studs, coated main and rod bearings and more. For the 2011 to 2015 Short Blocks, like the 10:1 and 11.5:1 Pro Series, we do not have any water jacket issues. For these high performance applications, we use a different bore size to ensure enough thickness in the walls. This ensures that there is no weakness in the bore.

For higher performance applications, we utilize our sleeve technology to ensure strength

Within the new generation blocks, water jackets are not an issue after our modifications.

the 16' 5.2L Short Block is built stronger to avoid this issue. The 5.2L is available through us with or without sleeves.

The price of this Short Block is $5,499.99

The displacement would depend on what we decided to place the final bore size at, which is based on power, application, service interval, etc. So there are a series of factors that would determine that final bore size, which would determine the final cubic inch of the engine.
