replacement battery

My OEM is the one that just puked out. Well, maybe it was my cheap harbor freight trickle charger. Regardless its been a 7 year run with only 20k miles haha.

here's what i went with and i am very happy

Duracell Gold 40R - SLI40RT6M, 650CCA....its a little bigger than the rotorcraft, but still fits in the location with more cca's, 3-yr free replacement, then 29 month pro-rated after for $110.

Bumping an old thread because I haven't seen it posted anywhere that Costco now sells Interstate batteries with increased warranties for dirt cheap. I searched here and read all the threads I could find on batteries and it sounds like Interstate is fairly well liked (there are as many opinions about battery brands as there are battery brands). My Costco has 40R Interstate batteries with 590 CCA and 105 RC with 42 month full replacement warranty for $72.99. Compared to a Motorcraft, Die Hard, etc. with the same specs for ~$120, the Interstate from Costco seems pretty good.

Interstate doesn't list a MT-7 that fits our cars. They only show the Mega-Tron II, which is what Costco has for $73. Maybe they quit making that in our size?
