Spoke too soon

Cliff notes?

1) Need a new DD

2) was told about a 07 GT and then it fell thru.

"Car is for sale but not at the moment but maybe."

No time to play games...

Nice buy! I just got my first s197 too after owning a sn95, a very nice upgrade in comfort to say the least

How could a '95 be nickel and diming you to death, anyway. All parts are available jobber, or from the junkyard, really simple vehicle, not much to go wrong.

I know that, exact reason I own two SN95's!! I'm had my 95 since 2006 and I'm tired of driving a fox chassis daily. The 98 GT is the one I'm selling and it has a plethora of small issues:

1) power door locks quit
2) all the bushings are shit and ball joints squeak
3) core support is bent
4) losing coolant into engine
5) transmission has a intermittent vibration
6) seats are shit
7) rebuilt ac and then it died
8) History... Since it was always going to be expendable, it's not big deal to sell it. I traded another car for it. Besides, if I keep it it'll get a the whole MM catalog thrown at it like my '95 did. I like the car but I need something with an automatic for my wife to drive on occasion since she has sciatica issues. I will miss it but I'd rather keep sinking money into my 95 project

Guy was saved from a 5R55 car by fate... perhaps 5.0's will go down in price enough he can get a 6AT 5.0 in a year or two. I saw an extraordinarily clean '11 going for $16,000.

I am just catching this thread, and have no idea what's going on here...

I don't like games!

My self-imposed limit is $28k but I'd prefer spend less. I'm looking at Coyote cars now, and may just buy a manual. It seems easier to find a 6MT car for a good deal.
