Take a careful look at the threads on the can... Does it look like there's a taper to them (slightly wider at the outside than the inside of the can)? If so, it's just like mine, and that took NPT fittings, not -AN. I used some Earl's 90* 1/2" NPT to 5/8" hose barb fittings, and it worked like a charm, and for a LOT less money than getting into and out of -AN fittings. (1/2" NPT to -10AN adapt, -10 fitting, 90*, on each side...) If you ordered direct from Stef's, that would be the piece they recommended, not the -10 can.

Here's a list I used for the Stefs 5123 not sure if the 5122 has the same fitting size. These are Summit part numbers.
AER-FCA1003 Hose, AQP, Braided Stainless Steel, -10 AN, 3 ft. Length, Each $23.95

EAR-800110ERL Fitting, Hose End, Swivel Seal, Straight, -10 AN Hose to Female -10 AN, Aluminum, Red/Blue, 1 @ $10.95 each

EAR-812010ERL Fitting, Hose End, Swivel Seal, 120 Degree, -10 AN Hose to Female -10 AN, Aluminum, Red/Blue, 1 @ $25.95 each

EAR-9892120ERL Fitting, Flare Reducer, Female -12 AN to Male -10 AN, Aluminum, Blue, 2 @ $16.75 each

MOR-63401 Mounting Bracket, Overflow Tank, Clamp Mount, 3 in., Stainless Steel, Natural, 1 @ $6.95

SPE-3260 Hose Clamp, Magna-Clamp, Stainless Steel/Aluminum, Natural/Red-Blue Anodized, 5/8 in. Maximum Diameter, 2 @ $6.95 each

Well I guess I could have looked at the pictures first before posting then I'd see the fittings will not be the same.:hammer:

I'm pretty sure the 5122 is a 1/2" NPT in and out... Call Stef's to verify: 732-367-8700.

It also depends on whether you are using steel braided hose or pushlok rubber hose. I went with the pushlok hose with an inner support spring so the fittings are slightly different. The black pushlok fitting for the bottom of the tank was 90 degrees in my case since they didn't make anything greater than that in black but the 120 or 150 degree fitting would be better for clearance and routing.

Check this thread and post #20 (from me) for my setup..
