Not a repost, promise. Found a deal on some FR500's need suggestions for a rear tire to fit the 18x10'' rim? They come with Sumitumo HTR III 255/45/18's on the front. What will handle the best and look good to? (street tire not a dr kinda want it to last)

Ive used Kuhmo Mx's they make a 275/40/18 that would look really good on there and get pretty good traction, Ive also used Bridgestone RE50s and they hook up even better but they dont look as agressive as the kuhmos do.

I went with some Nitto 555 295/45/18's for my 18x10's. I'll have them on by Wednesday, and will let you know how they are.

If rain is the most important factor the Goodyear GSD-3 is a great tire.
I'm running the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 which is still a very good tire in the rain but great all around. They're not cheap at around $327 ea.
I got around 28,000 miles on them with about 1/2 of them being highway.

I had those tires on my car for about a year and it looked great, but they were just too big.

you can always find the kdw2's. they might have to order them and have them shipped to their store, but that should only take a few days to get there. you get those and you will not be sorry.

my first set of rears i did many many burnouts and went to the track 2-3 times a month. ended up getting only about 17,000 i think from them. (can't ever really remember exactly) i'm on my second set now in the rear and i'm at 36000 miles and i have a ton of tread left on them. i also do very few burnouts and seldom use them at the track. so with almost 20000 miles on them now i would say i have at least another 15thousand left before i have to change them. unless i want to make it faster to get those mt's ;)

the front set i got 25000 miles out of them with very hard driving and cornering. i expect to get even more out of this front set also since i've calmed down around the corners quite a bit.

I think I'll go with the 295/35/18's that Matt has...What brand are they?

I like the kdw2's but can't seem to find them...

Edit: This is what they have locally

or one of these?

What kind of power are you putting down? Those are both good tires but they both have a tread wear of 300 which is really high if your supercharged or turbod?

I'm NA, not putting down over 320hp I bet. Full exhaust and dyno tune is coming soon
