Team JDM 2010 Roush 727R Drag Race Mustang

$45,000

We are selling our 2010 Roush one of one 727R Drag Race Mustang. This car was built and designed by JDM Engineering along with Roush Performance. JDM Engineering campaigned this car for promotion of JDM and Roush performance parts during the 2009-2011 seasons for the NMRA Racing series. The vehicle has been signed and photographed with Jack Roush and as well his daughter Susan Roush a fellow NMRA Racing series member and friend of JDM Engineering. The vehicle was driven by NMRA and Fun Ford Weekend World Champion Chris Parisi and owner of JDM Engineering Jim D’Amore during its 2 and a half year span of racing. The vehicle has been published in several magazines including Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, 5.0 Magazine, Race Pages, Fastest Street Car, and more. This vehicle is truly a piece of Roush Racing history and used to win multiple national events and a World Championship series as well.

Even though this car is built and setup as a drag race vehicle it could easily be turned into a street car again just by simply changing the brakes and putting street tires on the car. If you want to just show off with this car at Cruise ins and Shows then leave it the way it is and let everyone know who’s got the baddest street car in town! The front brakes are light weight strange brakes and are not meant to take the load of daily driving. You will see brake fade very quickly if they become hot. They are fine braking from 145+mph however, we have tested them! The 6 point roll bar has removable swing outs so its convenient and comfortable to get in and out of the car. With the current fixed back seats the car has little to no access to the rear seats. We do have the factory seats to go with the car. The trunk has full access however the battery has been relocated to the back of the trunk up against the rear seats. Also there are weight ballast plates installed but can easily be removed. These are great if you plan to bracket race the car. The car is NHRA approved and legal to run as fast as 10.00 elapsed times. The car is capable of running mid 9 sec ET’s though.

The driveability of this car is second to none for a car as fast as it is. With over 720 rear wheel horsepower on VP 109 race gas this car will run 9.70’s @ 140+ mph all day long. Install the street tune for 600 RWHP with 93 octane and you can get 20+mpg cruising down the highway on a long road trip blasting air conditioning and listening to your favorite song because it still has all the accessories and amenities that it came with from Ford. This car however would not pass some state inspections because of its current exhaust configuration. If it is determined by the purchaser that he needs to have the car pass we can add catalytic converters to it and it would be deemed certifiable for inspection and emissions.

Accomplishments:
Best ET to date 9.71@143mph (April, 2011 @ NMRA Atlanta national event)
NMRA class event wins ( Bowling Green, KY World Finals 2009 & Atco, NJ 2011)
NMRA world championship 2010 race season for Super Stang S197 class

^^302e stands for 302 "extreme". It was the engine that was put in the Saleen S302 extreme.
