On April 6, 2015 at Homestead Miami Speedway, the Trans Am Series held two races with a total of 65 participating cars. The first ever Trans Am Muscle Car Challenge was held by the TA2 class, independent from the TA and TA3 100-mile Trans Am race.
Thomas Ellis led the class to the winner’s circle with his No.00 Steeda equipped Ford Mustang in the TA3 American Muscle Group. Following Ellis on the podium was Todd Napieralski in a Chevrolet Camaro and Christopher DeSalvo in a Ford Mustang.
