I have an 06 4.0 and an HP tuner that I’m using to learn computer tuning. I was wondering how much timing these engines liked? It doesn’t seem to effect total timing no matter what I do it stays around 24-25°. I have upped the MBT tables and still only getting the 25°. When scanning the car it doesn’t show to be retarding any timing. Anyone have any thoughts? Or is 25 a good place to be?
