TPMS Reprogramming

I've tried the search function but can't find the info I need.

I will be swapping my wheels for a new set this weekend. The new set also has new TPMS sensors already installed. I have a buddy who has a reprogramming tool to lend me but I can't find any instructions on how to actually do it.

Could someone walk me through the procedure, or post up some idiot proof instructions...?
