First time I go to the track since the turbo install. It was hot 88degrees and humid.
I had my share of bad runs caused by stupidity, forgeting to turn the traction control off, missing shifts and others because wheel hop (time to get the LCAs) and no traction. Need to work on my 60 foot times, ahhhhh and a new shifter. The Hurst shifter is a nice looking piece but missing 2nd gear twice is not going to cut it. Never missed 3rd.

My first run was a 12.570 @ 115.14 MPH (that was my best MPH all day)
Best run 12.509 @ 113.15 MPH. The track wasn't hooking. Everybody was having traction issues.

Yea, it sucks when there's no traction. What tires are you running?

Don, I was using the Nittos drag radials 275/40/17. Old tires. Once I get the LCAs and raise the boost from 9lbs to 11lbs with a more agressive tune I'll definetlely have to get better tires. What you recommend? I want to stay with 17s for now.

If you want to stick with that size, I'd say go with the 275/40-17 M/T ET street radials (#3743R).
