No shame in being "old". You have a love for cars and that's all that matters.

Being "old" has nothing to do with the love of cars! I hope my wife will stay as tolerate as your wife does over the years with mustangs and racing!

Very nice looking mustang!

Thanks everyone for the congrats ..but it was a hard change to make I really love the retro look of the s197. It was either a s/c or a new 5.0 stuck on the horsepower thing since I like to drag race! And thought about color change like Darren almost went Black but last three Mustangs were RED! My first Mustang was black a 68 Mustang GT 428 Cobra Jet in 1970 had it running 11`s and trust me that was very fast back them. This is a poor quality old pic and don`t look to close on my back that`s not a raccoon it`s very long hair HIPPY DAZE!

Oh yes I do but I use to drive to the track on M&H drag slicks this was long before drag radials until I got stranded during any rain it was almost impossible to drive on wet roads. It was a street car but with slicks I started using a tow bar and towed it with my DD a 1968 Shelby GT500KR I never raced the Shelby back then it (1970-76) it was no big deal WOW wish I still had that! That little kid is RB my son he still races Mustangs and my daughter but she was not born at this time she missed the Shelby Days!

Wow, you had some awesome cars. I see pics like that and it just confirms my resolve to not get rid of my 65 mustang or my 05 mustang.

Looking good Bob.

And I am even older than you buddy so I do recall all those machines back in the day.
