Drove the car today for the first time since the turbo was put on. This is my first turbo car so wasn't really sure what to expect, but so far, with just the limited time I've driven it, I can already tell I like it much better than my s/c'd Cobra. Went with the on3 single 70mm kit running at 8lbs.

The car has 4.10's in it currently which is a bit much...but fun. Debating on swapping back down to 3.55's.

Here's some of the pics from the install:

Power was at a pitiful 288/304 before with a JLT, axleback, and tune. Made 465ish on the first run but the clutch was pretty angry about it. I'm still rocking the stock clutch for now (oops), so dialed it back a bit. Left the power at around 450hp which is more than enough right now (with that crappy clutch). Probably going to order a clutch here pretty quickly.

One question I do have...if anyone can answer...car currently has MAC axlebacks on it. I'm not liking the sound of it much now post-turbo. It's too raspy. Anyone have any other recommendations for a different axleback or to get rid of that raspy-ness?

Get a straight thru a/b. Also, save your money on a clutch for the 3650 and do a 6060 swap right away. It will work well with your 4.10s and the 3650 wont last long anyway

Good luck with it.
I've still got my 4.10's with a turbo and it is geared perfectly for the 1/4 mile. If you don't have one already, get a WOT BOX-being able to hold the boost between shifts makes a night and day difference with the 4.10's and constantly needing to shift.

As stated with a turbo you want a straight through designed muffler, to reduce backpressure. A turbo setup is never going to sound as good as a blown or N/A setup because the turbo changes the exhaust so much. I tried lots of different setups when I was looking for some for my car. I ended up with Zoomers and have been very happy with the sound quality and loudness level. They aren't cheap but are a well made muffler. http://marylandspeed.com/zoomers-ax...46l-api-1014-p-1705.html?manufacturers_id=110

The blue looks great in the engine bay, congrats

Thanks! It's actually supposed to be deep purple but I haven't been able to capture it in pics yet lol

Appreciate the compliments and advice on the exhaust. I'm going to hopefully switch it out with a friend's this week to try something else.

I don't think I got your request yet. Are you sure you sent it to the right person? My cover photo is the front of the car :)

Good old sloppy 3650. The 1:1 4th gear ratio and a set of 28" tires and I'm crossing the line at 5900 ish and 120 mph.
It didn't build boost until the very top of 1st gear without the wot box.

awesome autocorrect malfunctions brought to you by tapatalk
