Turning Gravity into light

I came across this video today on Youtube and I think that it has some really cool ideas in it and would be something pretty cool to look into in the future or for camping. I mean I guess in the US or the UK this wouldn't be too huge of a seller, but in other countries where electricity is unreliable or there might not be a ready source of power via batteries or something this would be a cool thing to have. I was pretty amazed by it as well, something that I had never really thought of until now.

my mind started turning with ways to make it last longer between pulls. more pullies, heavier weights, higher height.

actually more pullies would make the weight easier to hoist as well. just need to haul more rope.

I was thinking of setting up a watermill system where the "zip tie" could loop and be constant.

Read about this gravity light about a year ago. Pretty cool. Will be cool if they get units to the people that need them.
