Just a friendly reminder for those who may be misled by misinformation out there on the 'net.

The soft rubber bushings in the OEM control arms of 2005-13 Mustangs are the primary cause of wheelhop on S197 Mustangs. Rear shocks and tires also play a role. However, UPR's Pro Street control arms have been consistently proven to eliminate wheelhop.

Our Pro Street control arms are the best in the business because:

*Our custom Energy Suspension bushings are fluted internally, which keeps them lubricated.

*The bushings use 1" diameter metal sleeves which strengthen the sleeve-bushing-arm interface.

*The bushings are easily lubricated with the included Zerk fittings at each end.

*Our control arm bodies feature the proper rear offset for the S197 which keeps the bushings from binding.

*The control arm bodies themselves are made of tig welded chrome-moly tubing, which is the strongest construction method available. Some competitors use rectangular steel bodies because they are cheaper and easier to manufacture that way, but if they claim rectangular steel is stronger, RUN AWAY. They are not being truthful! There is a reason SFI specifications REQUIRE tubular chrome-moly in any chassis running 7.49 or quicker.
