Viable ways for more engine bay room?

Planning during deployment is a bitch. I'm trying to make room so I can have a custom turbo set up w/ front mounted turbo(s) and a straight(ish) intake path so tuners can have an easy day.

I hate how cramped these engine bays are! Btw, I don't have back seats, nor do I keep a spare. Also, are there any front bumper assemblies/suspensions (other than GR40) that warrant more space/workability?

Remove from Engine Bay:
1. Battery (Trunk)
2. BEC (Under Passenger Dash? Trunk?)
3. ???

Relocation In Engine Bay:
1. Cooling Tank (Off to side/New unit)
2. Windshield Fluid Reservoir/Motor
3. ???

Custom Fabrication:
1. Cowl Panel/Firewall
2. ???

not exactly straight forward, but what about cutting out the cowl panel behind the engine and making something custom?
there's a good 3-4" gap behind that

the smart junction box is already under the dash.
what you have in the engine bay is the BEC (Main Fuse/Relay box and PCM) but that would be a pain in the ass to relocate.

while at it you can move your wiper fluid reservoir/motor

That's appalling to know Ford left a good 3-4" gap there! Does it serve any conceivable purpose? And thank you for the correction about the BEC! I've got a few expert electrician/car aficionado buddies who I'm sure wouldn't mind taking a look at it. Where there's a will there's a way!

I'm still debating where to keep the wiper fluid reservoir/motor :(

What about companies that sell front bumper(s) that would do well with a front mount turbo set up? MMR has done this in the past.

if you cut out the panel, you will reveal the cabin air filter/air inlet right behind the battery.. and you'll also reveal the wiper motor and arms to the top.
however there's nothing really right behind the engine.

UPR or BMR Kmember and radiator support
JPC front bumper support, or custom
Ditch electronic steering rack for a manual rack
Ditch power brakes to get rid of booster and abs module/pump
Relocate the fuse box and PCM

A/C is over rated

Somewhere in some forum I saw Before-and-After photos of an engine compartment, where the After looked remarkably spacey. The modification was a "Cable Tuck", or "Wiring Tuck". Surprising how much open space appeared with the wiring out of sight.

THIS wasn't it, but gives you an idea.

This HERE was it.

formula drift cars love to run a rear mounted rad - just a matter of how you feel about coolant lines in the passenger seat

Thanks for the wire tuck links, Frank.

I intend to do a wire tuck on my car. I might start this weekend on it. Depends on how far along I get with the LT header, manifold and suspension install...

I'd do everything sans deleting A/C and P/S.
