Wait for tune or go ahead and install cat deletes?

Sorry, in a hurry to get out the door and didn't have time to search, I'm sure it's all over.

So I was supposed to get the tune to accommodate for the cat deletes from my tuner on Wednesday but I think he got tied up. I'm sure he'll get it to me next week but this weekend works better for me to do the install.

So would it be ok to drive it for a bit without the tune eliminating the cats?

TIA

A.J.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking I'll do. Thanks.

Just sucks because I'll already have the car off the ground doing the suspension. Oh well..

I drove without cats for a few hundred miles before updating the tune and didn't get a CEL. I was kind of surprised.

You'll be fine.

Go ahead and swap them out.
